Delete your account

You're in control of your data. You can permanently delete your PickleBuddy account and everything tied to it at any time — here's how.

Delete it in the app

The quickest and most secure way — recommended.

    Open PickleBuddy

    Launch the app on your device and make sure you're signed in to the account you want to delete.

    Go to your Profile

    Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.

    Delete your account

    Open Settings, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete Account, and confirm. That's it — your request is processed right away.

Request it by email

Already uninstalled the app or can't sign in? Fill this in and we'll open a pre-filled deletion request for you to send from your registered email address.

What's deleted, and what stays

When you delete your account, here's exactly how your data is handled.

Permanently deleted

  • Profile details — display name, phone number, and avatar
  • Security tokens and active sessions
  • Group memberships and any organizer or co-organizer roles
  • All past and upcoming session RSVPs
  • Push notification token and preferences

Anonymized, not removed

  • Messages and announcements you posted stay visible so group chats remain readable — but they're permanently disconnected from you and shown as “Deleted User.”

Timing and backups

Deletion happens immediately in our active database. Encrypted system backups may retain a copy for up to 30 days, after which it's permanently overwritten. Once deleted, your data can't be recovered.
